We at Owl Creek have published and organized prizes in various manners over the years trying to find the "right" formula. At this time, our current direction for Owl Creek is to follow similar protocol as other large American races like the Birkebeiner and Boulder Mountain Tour. We are hoping to publish results as follows:
1. Overall results, this includes every racer regardless of gender or category, an example of this can be seen here: http://owlcreekchase.aspenrecreation.com/media/pdf/2010OCC_OverallResults.pdf
2. Gender and Age group results. We have decided to make all racers eligible for age group prizes regardless of designation as SuperTour, or Elite, or Citizen, or any other name. This is the same at Birkie and BMT.
Age groups are: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+
3. Gender specific SuperTour overall, this list will designate those that are eligible for cash prizes on the SuperTour side.
4. Gender specific Citizen overall, this list removes all license holders and will designate those eligible for the top 3 overall Citizen prizes.
